Frequently Asked Questions
Pricing, contracts, response times and how remote support actually works.
The questions commercial clients actually ask before they call, answered plainly. If yours is not here, call 352-290-4357 and ask.
Pricing and agreements
How do you charge?
Two ways, depending on what suits you. Ongoing monthly coverage is priced per user, which makes the cost predictable and means nobody on your team is weighing up whether a problem is worth a phone call. Or hourly, billed as used, for ad-hoc work and one-off projects.
Why is there no price list?
Because a single published figure would be wrong for most of the businesses reading it. What a five-person insurance office needs and what a building supply operation with a yard network needs are not the same job. We quote after a short conversation about your actual setup, and what we quote is what you are invoiced for that work — no line items appearing later. Rates for ongoing coverage are reviewed at renewal, as with any ongoing service.
Is there a minimum?
Monthly agreements normally start at three users. Smaller businesses are taken case by case, so call and ask rather than assuming the answer is no.
Do I need a contract?
Only for ongoing monthly coverage. Hourly work needs no agreement at all — call, we help, you get an invoice. Managed agreements run annually.
What if we want to cancel partway through?
Annual agreements can be cancelled with notice. You remain responsible for third-party services and subscriptions already committed for the rest of the term — licensing, hosted mail, backup storage and similar, which we buy on your behalf and cannot return. The written agreement sets out the specifics.
Do you charge for travel?
No. Support is delivered remotely across Florida, so there is no drive time on your invoice and no waiting for a technician to finish a job on the other side of the county.
Response and hours
How quickly will someone respond?
Same business day, Monday to Friday, 8am to 5pm Eastern. Because the work is remote, that usually means someone is looking at the problem shortly after you call rather than scheduling a visit for tomorrow.
What about evenings and weekends?
After-hours support is available at a higher rate. If something breaks at 9pm on a Saturday and it genuinely cannot wait until Monday, call. If it can wait, we will tell you that too.
How the work actually happens
Everything is remote — how does that work?
You call or send a message, and we connect to the machine or server that has the problem through a secure remote session you approve. We run a managed remote monitoring and support platform rather than consumer screen-sharing tools, so access is controlled and sessions are logged. Most business IT problems are software, configuration or network issues, and those are faster to resolve remotely because the work starts when you call instead of when someone can be dispatched.
What if the problem needs someone physically there?
We will say so plainly. A screen share does not fix a dead power supply or a failed switch. When it is genuinely hardware, we diagnose it, tell you exactly what is needed, and help you get it replaced and configured — rather than stretching out a remote session that was never going to work.
What parts of Florida do you cover?
The whole state. Remote delivery means a business in Pensacola gets the same response as one twenty minutes away. There is no walk-in location — work is scheduled by phone or through the contact form.
Equipment
Do you sell hardware, or only service it?
Both. We specify, supply and support equipment — workstations, servers, networking and the rest. That means the machine arriving on your desk was chosen for the job rather than picked off a shelf, and whoever set it up is the same team you call when something goes wrong with it.
Will you work on equipment we bought ourselves?
Yes. You are not required to buy hardware through us to get support on it.
Getting started
How do we start?
A conversation. Call 352-290-4357 or send a message, tell us what is breaking or what you are unhappy with, and we will tell you honestly whether we are a good fit. No obligation, and no pressure to sign anything on the first call.
We already have an IT provider. Is switching a hassle?
It is usually less painful than people expect, and most businesses that call are already having the same problem repeatedly. The awkward part is normally getting access and documentation handed over, and that is a conversation worth having before your current arrangement fails at a bad moment.
Do you work with home users?
Yes, under our residential name, Computer Sales and Repair. See the residential page for what that covers.
Still have a question?
Call 352-290-4357 or send a message, and we will get back to you the same business day.
